It’s like Xmas!!! Wikipedia just shared something exciting—and ultimately terrifying as well–with little ol’ me:

“In 2007, a ballet called Common People, set to Has Been, was created by Margo Sappington (of Oh! Calcutta! fame) and performed by the Milwaukee Ballet. Shatner attended the premiere and filmed the event. The filmed footage eventually turned into a feature film called William Shatner’s Gonzo Ballet, due out in 2009.”

*sigh* I miss “Boston Legal.” With no more appearances in Star Trek, and no Denny Crane to create week after week, the Shat has only his interview show to keep him in the public eye these days. Whatever happened to “Free Enterprise 2″?

Incidentally, Shatner is probably the only actor alive who could get me to ever go to Mountain-Con again. (I gave up on CONduit years ago.) Did you hear that, Bill? The future of my local con-going experience rests in your hands.

Then again, I not only own, but have in fact bought for others, Shatner’s “Incubus,” the only movie ever penned in Esperanto. And I like it. Plus, I work out to his CD “Has Been” on a regular basis. Shatner can do no wrong–and that includes Star Trek IV. Shame on you, Jason!! >;)
