Name a piece of the station after a piece of the ‘verse

Like you all know, I geek out for anything Firefly related. I’ve never dressed up in a costume for a convention, but if I was going to, it’d be Tightpants-esque.

And, like any rabid Browncoat, I want the brilliant-but-cancelled sow immortalized in every way possible. So, when I saw that NASA was offering a chance to name the new module after Serenity, I cast my vote faster than the old bird could go to hard burn.

The new module and cupola is going to give the astronauts a pretty posh addition. The area offers, for the first time, a huge mass of windows, giving our spacemen (and women) gorgeous vistas of Earth-that-still-is.

But enough from me. Go cast a vote!
