I'm Stephen Colbert and I approve this message.

Take that Stephen Colbert! For all good your write in campaign did. NASA in their infinate wisdom might just pass on naming their new portion of the space station after the television personality.

Instead they will give him the nice, shiny new toilet aboard the station. Perhaps a small picture of him saying “Just do it!” above the commode would work as well.

And in the end, NASA seems leaning toward honoring the actual proposed names and the vote results which should put Browncoat favorite Serenity back in the lead. But they do not necessarily want to alienate all of those who took the time to write in for Colbert, hence the porcelain god.

See Colbert, you may think you have the Colbert Nation behind you, but you cannot outsmart a geek. And if there is one thing NASA has more than enough of, its geeks.

It almost seems fitting.
