Family Guy meets ST:TNG

So anyone else catch Sunday’s episode of Family Guy? You know the one where that reunited the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Even Denise Crosby was there. Ahhh, good ole Tasha Yar.

Hilarious! Stop reading now if you don’t want spoilers. Wait…can you have spoilers for an animated show that has no serial story line? Well, if you can, like I said, stop reading.

So in a nutshell, if you are still reading and have not seen it, the Griffins head off to a Star Trek convention. Stewie, Trekker that he is, attends a panel with the cast of TNG. Sadly, he does not get his question answered. So he builds a transporter and forces all of them to spend the day with him. Oh, and the other storyline with Bryan being atheist.

So I just wanted to list my top five moments from the episode:
5) NKOTB growl out
4) Mike Tyson Punchout prayer
3) My boy Wil Wheaton
2) Tasha Yar splat
1) God=Flash Gordon

I have to say, this was one of the funniest episodes I have seen in quite a while. Probably funniest since they did their Blue Harvest special. And bonus for us, the Empire Strikes Back Family Guy is coming sometime in the near future.

Giggidy giggidy goo! Here is the episode, which will eventually expire, so watch it while you can!

I’m not the biggest Family Guy lover (it’s good, mindless entertainment), but I’m going to definitely watch this tonight. It actually looks like this episode has cohesiveness, instead of 18 minutes of non sequiters.

Yeah, it’s definitely one of the best episodes of the last few months.

And am I the only one who hopes ‘The Cleveland Show’ fails miserably?

I’ve never seen the “Family Guy,” but when I heard about this I thought I’d probably check it out. Hopefully I’ll get the chance before it expires. Of course, I’m sure the Sunday crowd will… er… “acquire” it soon enough. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve seen the Robot Chicken Star Wars special….

That looks awesome. I will also be checking this one out.
Nick, so with you about the Clevland Show. Massive lack of any content that would interest me in the slightest. Epic Fail.

Yeah, the only other character which could have even a halfway-decent show is Quagmire.
