Lorne moves on to his next life

Sad news for all you Whedony Angel lovers out there. Andy Hallett passed away last night after a five year battle with heart disease. Hallett is best known for his portrayal of muse Lorne on the Buffy spin-off.

Suddenly I don’t feel like singing at this point in time. Hallett, a fan favorite, from the show will surely be missed.

Let this not be the trinity beginning to turn again, last time we lost Khan, the original Number Six and Lost in Space’s robot. It really better not be the Whedon trinity or I think there will be mass hysteria in the streets.

We will miss you Andy. Join with me on your favorite Lorne, or even better, Andy moments.

This makes me sad. Andy Hallett is my favorite person to come out of the Whedonverse.

I’ve never met anyone from the Whedonverse, but as a character his Lorne was a favorite of mine. How could I not like someone who called the cloyingly brooding Angel “Angel cakes”?
