Maybe…sort of!  I have few friends with curly hair that stopped shampooing.  Now this doesn’t mean they stopped showering, rinsing, or even conditioning their hair.  They still shampoo, occasionally.  Though my friend Whitney shampooed her hair last month and said, “Worst hair day ever!  I’m never doing that again!”  Now I wash my hair every other day or every two days, but just assumed that I couldn’t jump on the “no poo” bandwagon until I read this article on MSNBC, “Ditching shampoo a dirty little beauty secret.” The article claims that any hair type benefits from no shampoo.  Even my straight, fine hair?  Well, the experiment began on Tuesday.  ..read more

ABC joins Hulu lineup

My devious plan is coming together. That plan being that all my television can be viewed simply through Hulu. And now ABC has joined the fold with NBC and Fox by providing programming to view through Hulu. Now all I need is CBS, Cartoon Network and Food Network to jump on board and I can be content.

Its not that I can’t find the content elsewhere on the interwebs, it just that Hulu is so smooth and polished, it make is easy. And the best feature of all, the queue. It automatically adds new episodes and it lines it all up in a nice little package. I can watch it in ..read more

So today I get a sick day. Went to the doc, she said cold, not swine flu. But me being the nice guy that I am decided not to infect my workmates and stay at home. So right now I am on rest and liquids and catching up on my Hulu queue. And as I get through the queue I realize I have been watching a lot of Bones lately.

I heard the overstated media hype, and was completely unimpressed. 140 characters to tell someone I’m pooping? What a vacuous, ego-centric culture we live in! Who really CARES?
