Fallout in the sky with diamonds

Not settling anymore for “Easy Listening Hits from 1999″, this month Delta Air Lines has an audio channel devoted to the music of Fallout 3. The songs (stuff like Cole Porter ditties, not just pieces of the score) are bookended by one of the game’s
producers talking about why he put these specific tunes in and about video game music in general. It’s a pretty nice little diversion on a five-hour flight.
And also, did you know that Delta’s in-seat video unit software is run on Linux?

I’ve been listening to the “Bioshock” soundtrack, with its harsh, dissonant strings. If I could find that channel on Delta, I would be set. But, considering that game starts with a plane “crash,” maybe I’ll be more comfortable with the hits of Koji Kondo.
Nick — the Bioshock soundtrack is huge fun, and really well done.
And the music of Fallout 3 as a featured channel on Delta? Just shows how much geeks are inheriting the Earth.
If the channel is hosted by Three Dawg I’m sold. Harroooooo!
+1 Geek points for mentioning Three Dog.
