Just reminding everyone that this exists. I really have nothing to add until I read it.

The publishing website says it best:
“Pride and Prejudice and Zombies features the original text of Jane Austen’s beloved novel with all-new scenes of bone-crunching zombie action. As our story opens, a mysterious plague has fallen upon the quiet English village of Meryton-and the dead are returning to life! Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is determined to wipe out the zombie menace, but she’s soon distracted by the arrival of the haughty and arrogant Mr. Darcy. What ensues is a delightful comedy of manners with plenty of civilized sparring between the two young lovers-and even more violent sparring on the blood-soaked battlefield as Elizabeth wages war against hordes of flesh-eating undead. Complete with 20 illustrations in the style of C. E. Brock (the original illustrator of Pride and Prejudice), this insanely funny expanded edition will introduce Jane Austen’s classic novel to new legions of fans.”

How did I not know about this? I LOVE Pride and Prejudice in any way shape or form. And I think I’m going to LOVE this one too!
Ditto Christy! Zombies are everywhere in my life lately. I think this is a sign…
See Charlotte, just as I was saying yesterday – the world is being taken over by zombies!! I think we should all read it so that we can be properly prepared in dealing with this menace as politely and with as much poise as possible. Thank you Elizabeth Bennett for your unerring example of grace.
I saw this, and loved the idea of it! Christy, I think it’s written for people like you. From what I understand, you really have to LIKE Pride and Prejudice as well as zombies — if you don’t like them both, you’ll be bored with the book.
What the hell kind of blasphemer are you? Jane Austen is NEVER boring. Ever. Be it book, movie based on book, book based on life, book based on book, movie based on book based on life. The first time I watched the BBC version…with Colin Firth…ah…the world opened up. Birds sang. Flowers bloomed. 6 hours of my life passed in a flash as I yearned for Mr. Darcy to finally declare his love. Okay…so this is my true geekology.
Um….
