Singer Marian Call — Salt Lake City gig?

Awesome geek troubadour (and Firefly/BSG bard) Marian Call is passing through Utah between concerts, and we briefly discussed a small, last-minute backyard gig at my place.

She’s really into the idea, but in order to make it worth her while, we’d need to have a solid turnout.

So, the question: Would you attend a Sunday, June 14 early evening concert? I don’t need an RSVP-style confirmation yet — I’m just gauging interest so I can tell her if she has the ball or not. Wish I was going to be in Utah that week. :( But, it’s looking like I’ll be around the week before for my cousin’s wedding on June 7th.

I figure if I am in that neck of the woods I would stop by for an adult beverage or two. There is just something about fandom music. Well the good stuff I mean. Which Marian is.

Sorry about that but I forget my car keys in the future so I needed to place a ‘hide-a-key’ somewhere near at hand. Also, you’ll want to have a bucket of ice near at hand, but I can’t tell you why. As for the concert, it turns out fantastic, so be there or you’ll pollute the time stream!
