As some of you may know, candy makes me happy.  As the most recent batch of candy salad has been reduced to sprees and the need to mix up a new batch has been on my brain, I stumbled across this list of Nintendo candy.  (As a side note, that last batch of candy salad lasted almost four months.)  Here are a few of my favorites from the list.

Even the candies are mushrooms!

The geekier version of a pixie stick. However, these were yanked off the shelf after 9/11.

I've always been a sucker for candy shaped like electronics. Hmmm…I wonder why?

Now, is this yo-yo functional when only half of the candy has been consumed?

So the US government decided that Bombs with faces could be used as weapons?!

But I do want one…

When was the time a bomb looked like a round black thing with a fuse, anyway? Now, if Nintendo made nougat-shaped rectangles with crunchy chocolate detonator caps, I could see the problem.

Whoa! Who knew? I don’t recall ever having seen a Nintendo candy anything, and I was quite the candy connoisseur.

I was once brought home a box of Nintendo power mints in a tin box that resembled a controller. They were a big hit and tasted like Altoids. I need some more.
