Starcraft cakes, in honor of Starcraft II

Here at the Geek6 offices, everybody but me seems to have a thing for cake. By my rough count, nearly every third post seems to deal with some time of baked good.

So what happens when you combine cake with my favorite game of all time? I actually get motivated to jump into the fray. The cakes in this thread were done up by fans hoping to win an invite to the Starcraft 2 beta, which begins “sometime this summer.”

I’m not a cake person: I don’t even eat cake on my birthday. And I find it hard to imagine eating anything that has spent as much time rolling around in someone’s hands as cakes like these. But that said, I always enjoy looking at sci-fi-themed cakes.
