VR game gun: The coolest hillbilly mod I’ve seen

I am completely digging this DIY “VR-lite” controller for its ingenuity.

This guy took a bunch of cheap parts (old gamepad, cheap tracking mouse, small monitor and a handful of buttons) and created the “PC VR Game Gun.”

To understand it, you’ve really got to watch the video.

As you watch it, you’re going to notice several awesome things. First off, the guy couldn’t be bothered to put on shoes or get out of his jammies for his sales pitch. Also, he’s in his garage. And he has a computer in there. And his computer desk looks to double as a liquor cabinet.

I’m pretty sure I’d like to hang with this guy. Check out the video and look at the creativity he used to make this sweet peripheral.

That is absolutely the baddest ass mod I have seen in a while. Looks like a Star Wars “Grievous” gun….hmm, I have one of those around here somewhere….

Holy crap that is awesome. And he appears to have used a toy Star Wars gun. Or, at least one that looks like a Star Wars gun.

And all computer desks should hold liquor.
