Yes. There is time. You just have to make it. Late night or early morning it is there. If you choose to sleep, that is a choice you make, not that you don't have time. But weight loss is a gradual thing. I accept that and have to commit. Anyone has to commit. And for the most part people have to realize it will take upwards of a month before you start really seeing results.

There is always time. There's always time to do everything: we just tell ourselves there isn't. I know: I struggle with this when it comes to my novel.

Someone needs to end Amber's rampage.

And I'd love to be able to shed some weight (suffice to say I'm fat). Though I'm never able to find time, though hopefully this summer I'll be able to do something about it.

"Diet" as in a healthy diet, that is. I don't believe in "dieting" per se. I believe in sustainable weight loss through healthy eating and exercise.

OK, I'm done now. Sorry, this is a mega-huge topic for me.

Oh, and drinking beer and throwing darts while losing weight? You can do that as a younger man. I'd like to see you do it now. >;)

OK, I really wouldn't: I'm a big proponent of eating healthy. But seriously, diet is the number-one means of fat loss--and this is all the more true as we age and our metabolisms slow. Without eating right, you never do get the kind of results from exercise that you otherwise would.

I applaud your efforts, BTW. It's much easier for me, I know, because I started very young and never stopped. I can't imagine what it is like to try to restart an exercise and healthy-living program after time has passed.

Come on, man! I have been lifting weights and doing cardio for 20 years. Twenty years!!!! And I'm older than you. Get off your keister and just do it.

I've pretty much cut sugar out of my diet as well. I'm trying to eat very organic these days. Once you have the requisite amount of protein and fiber in your diet, the cravings for junk food really do die. It's true.
