Watch my Ignite presentation on role playing games

Admit it: you thought that I was full of crap when I said I was going to give a rapid-fire five-minute presentation on how to host a role-playing game.

Unfortunately, there’s now video proof that will live forever on the Internet as a testament to my nerdiness. The great folks with Ignite Salt Lake have posted the videos from the presentation. You can see them all by going to their site — and you should — there are some great videos there! But if I know you, you’ll only watch things if I make it really easy for you.

So, here’s a start you go (you can watch it in high quality and see others by clicking here):

Unfortunately, my timing was more off than I wanted it to be. I didn’t blow anything royally, but I didn’t really nail the timing on most of the slides. For the record, it’s harder than you think to time out a whole presentation that advances automatically!

And, if you live in Salt Lake, or another bigger city, chances are there’s an Ignite event going on near you. Check around, and do a geek a favor and show up.

That was monumentally awesome! I wish I’d seen it live and had had the chance to join in the audience laughter.

Careful, Amber — you may have to put your attendance where your mouth is. Word is, I may be giving an encore presentation in October… I’m not sure yet, but stay tuned. : )
