Legend of the Seeker DVD is out

That’s right, I said DVD, not Blu-Ray. Word on the street (and by street, I mean internet) is that they’re waiting for the price of Blu-Ray to come down before releasing it in high def. Blu-Ray prices are expected to fall this holiday season, so I will have to get my LOTS fix some other way. And by some other way, I mean one of my BFF’s is making me a confessor dress for Halloween and I’m 3 books away from finishing the series. Man I love this show.

My mom’ll be pretty excited, though I’m seriously hoping the new season follows along with the series’ plot more closely. I’ll stil end up getting this, though..
So far I’ve truly enjoyed what I have seen of this show, but it didn’t draw me in enough to compel me to watch the second half of S1. Now that I’m just about caught up with “True Blood,” I may give it a shot. But since it is just one in a long line of shows with which I have lost touch, I can’t say what program I will try over time to catch up with yet—maybe “Lost.”
As far as DVD goes, it is the rare DVD that I buy. I have very few movies and even fewer TV series. I’m just not typically driven to rewatch things.
I’m one of those rare people that doesn’t really care about DVDs. This drives my husband crazy, but I’ve watched it once, why do I need to see it again?
I’d prefer to watch something I’ve never seen 99% of the time. This also makes me a bad friend, but that’s another topic.
Yay, Charlotte: I’m not alone.
I added it to my Netflix list. I am always looking for good books as well. It the first book in the series called Legend of the seeker as well?
It is called “Wizard’s First Rule.”
I love that rule, too: it’s so terribly true.
Whoa! How did Zed get knocked off the cover art? That other guy must have a fantastic agent.
It’s because Zed is some sort of amalgam between Doc Brown and My annoying next door neighbor in his bathrobe; not a pretty cover does he make.
