Super Friend, Super Movers

Since three out of six of us have moved recently, I got to thinking about easier, geekier ways to get things done.  Friends always help me move… and I consider my friends to be pretty darn super.  But what if the super friends and other various superheroes helped the geeksixers move?  What would happen then?

The Hulk – awesome at first, just get him good and angry but NO NOT MY EWOK COOKIE JAR!  NO HULK SMASH NO!

Superman – Another great one at first, there was a little trouble with my box of kryptonite but just as we compromised on that Louis Lane shows up and the next thing you know Superman’s bending my lamp to impress her.  Plus, he’s a jerk.

Wonder Woman – She can use her invisible jet to move my things, sadly, the ENTIRE WORLD will be able to look up and see everything I own floating through the sky.  I could only hope they’d be distracted by looking up her skirt instead.

The Flash – yes, I can think of nothing wrong here.

Nightcrawler – *poof* movin your stuff *poof* five feet at a time *poof*  stupid line of sight *poof*

Batman – he wins, he can afford to hire a moving company while we dine on cucumber sandwiches at the mansion.

Awesome list. Kind of a sausage fest, though. I’m a little rusty on my superheroines. How about Lady Gaga. That’s a superhero, right?

I recently moved in heels. Up and down, up and down three-and-a-half flights of stairs with heavy boxes and weights in my arms. Jirl power!

Could have asked Jean Grey to help move. Lifting all your heavy stuff with just the power of the mind. But then you risk your stuff catching fire should she go all Dark Phoenix on you.

Yah, and if rogue helped we’d all have to be careful we didn’t accidently run into her as we crossed paths in the stairwell…

Plus, the biggest perk about moving is seeing my fiancée lift all those heavy boxes, why would I want to use girl super heroes? ;)

That thought had crossed my mind. :) There are some decided perks to getting assistance from male supermovers.
