Finally getting excited for Iron Man 2

By now I’m sure you’ve all seen the striking new Iron Man 2 poster that gives us our first glimpse at War Machine. If you haven’t, here you go:iron manweb2

Not half bad for a teaser poster. Okay, I’ll admit, it gets the geek juices flowing and finally gets me excited for the carnage that will meet the end of War Machine’s shoulder gun next summer. Though I gotta say, the poster does remind me of another promotional piece from a few years ago:

Will Iron Man and War Machine be blowing up evil sheep on the range? Only time will tell…

Other than the poster, a few new images have popped up and I’m pleased that one of my favorite actors from the first movie will be returning:

That’s right: Dummy! Tony’s hapless little bot who aims to please seems to be getting himself into more trouble this time around and I couldn’t be happier. Iron Man 2, starring some other human actors, opens May 7, 2010. Hi-res images can be found at Comic Book Resources.com.
