Geek Alums Sing FaLaLaLa Lifetime

I have a confession.  I love Lifetime movies.  It’s the cheesy, know what’s going to happen, bad dialogue, mediocre acting style of fluff that I can’t say no to.  I’m even more addicted to Christmas Lifetime movies.  I just counted 11 nuggets of Christmas cheese on my DVR and already had to answer the question of “What did you do last night?” with “I watched A Boyfriend for Christmas.” Here’s what I’ve learned, there’s a surprising number of geek show alums in Lifetime’s Christmas lineup.  So, here’s the spray cheese digest for you.

1.  A Christmas Wedding:  Dean Cain (Lois and Clark) and Sarah Paulson (Serenity).

2.  Holiday Wishes:  Amber Benson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer).

3.  The Christmas Wish:  Neil Patrick Harris (Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog). 

4. Under the Mistletoe:  Michael Shanks (Stargate).

5. Thomas Kinkade’s The Christmas Cottage:  Jared Padalecki (Supernatural), Peter O’Toole (Stardust, Supergirl), and Chelan Simmons (Kyle XY).

6.  A Very Merry Daughter of the Bride:  Luke Perry (Jeremiah).

7.  Call Me Claus:  Whoopi Goldberg (Star Trek: TNG) and Victor Garber (Alias).

8. His & Her Christmas:  Dina Meyer (Birds of Prey).

9. 12 Men of Christmas:  Kristen Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies, Glee).

10.  Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Clause:  Armin Shimmerman (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Buffy the Vampire Slayer).
