My awesome friend Cori made our wedding cake for us.

After much debating (we decided that Caprica Six and Helo would make to bizarre of a couple, for one) we settled on having Richard and Kahlan from Legend of the Seeker to be our cake topper. But there are no LOTS action figures to be found! What’s a girl to do? Why, have the same magic friend make some custom fondant figures! And so she did!
It's a combination of me and Drew and Kahlan and Richard, hence the different hair color
Details are as follows: the sword that Drew is holding is painted with real edible silver, edible 14K Gold, and is adorned with a real Swarovski crystal. Ever the attention to detail Cori also made the tooth necklace seen on his neck.
Details on Kahlan are the sleeves, the chest area, with the lacing detail on the front, and the hood in the back, and detailing had the 14K gold on the arms.
Never mind the Medal of Yavin Drew has on, that's a post for a different day

Don’t forget about your own fondant figurine making skills, Autumn. For those of you who don’t know, Autumn & Drew helped me make the “Matt-Wars” cake for my boyfriend Matt’s 30th birthday last year. Without their help and knowledge of Star Wars, our creation would not have been as awesome as it turned out to be. Details involved Jolly-Rancher Light Sabers w/fondant handles, Ewoks playing helmet drums, Chewbacca (all those thanks to Autumn and Drew, as well as Yoda, R2-D2, C3PO, Slave Leia and, yes I know it’s not Star-Wars related, but they were Matt-Wars related, Nannerpuss & a Carousel…

Totally didn’t mean to cross the line with requesting more wedding pics. I am on a board of about 200 women and we often post about “hey I did this or that” and then usually the response is “oo pics please.” We revel in our everyday triumphs and console and commiserate when needed as well. When I posted I was so excited for you I posted before I thought. Sorry if you got a crepifying stalker feeling from it.

Oh no, totally didn’t my friend, we just bought a house so it’s taking linger to respond than usual, I’m getting a few more post together that will hopefully be up later this week!
Oh good. It hit me in the middle of the night last night oops I maybe crossed the line. My mind gets going sometimes and worries about random stuff.
