Crazy Sexy Geeks and Tim Gunn Discuss Superhero Costumes

See, Power Girl totally owns her costume.

Tim Gunn takes fashion seriously, and here he takes superhero fashion seriously. He discusses the danger of capes and dresses (we all learned that in The Icredibles), the width of the weave in fishnets directly translating to increase in vulgarity, and superhero porn with Alan Kistler of Crazy Sexy Geeks. While he calls Black Canary a tramp, he totally gives props to Power Girl for being less objectionable even though she has over the top cleavage because she “owns it.” That’s it. I’m starting my Power Girl costume right now.

Why hasn’t GeekSix invited all our female readers to dress up as their favorite heroine? This whole talk about fish nets and over the top cleavage has something going for it.
