Twittering At Last

Yes, I finally opened a Twitter account. Mainly so I can send updates live during Comic-Con rather then sending them through Josh to post for me. (Thanks again Josh) So, if you’d like to be in on my Comic-Con shenanigans among other things, then follow me. @Geek6Christy

OK, so do people not say “tweet” anymore? Autumn used “twitter” as a verb, too, and the English major in me wants to know if a shift has occurred, and also why. I mean, if I’m going to mock Twitter, I ought to use the proper terminology. >;)
But, seriously, I really am curious.
Does one “twitter,” (rather than “tweet”) but what one twitters IS a “tweet”? Seriously: How does it work?
I had a vague idea that perhaps I should have used “tweeting” but I prefer “twittering” because then I sing this song in my head. I know, I know, the song is flittering, but I change it to twittering when I am doing just that.
In my book I Twitter something unless I’m referencing a specific tweet
Thanks for the info.!
