
Yes I’m a 31-year-old wearing Star Trek themed shoes and I think they are awesome. They are probably the geekiest clothing accessory I have owned since my magnetic He-Man belt when I was 6. Yes, I have a closet full of geek themed t-shirts, but that’s different. Today the average joe or jane can get away with wearing a geek shirt. Hell, it’s what keeps Hot Topic in business besides the goth stuff. But shoes, that’s different.

I honestly can’t remember if I already wrote a post about this or not when I discovered it a few months back. I’m too lazy to look it up. For those that don’t know who Angus MacLane is, he’s been working at Pixar as an animator and storyboard artist on just about every Pixar movie since “A Bug’s Life.” He also got to direct the hilarious short “Burn-E” that appears on the “Wall-E” DVD.
