
Now that the dust has settled from the news going around that Joss Whedon is set to direct Marvel’s The Avengers, and that it is quite possible he will pulling rewrite duties on the movie and on the upcoming Captain America movie, let the speculation begin.
What speculation is that?
Why who would be the perfect Whedonverse people to cast of course. Now being honest with myself I think it is foregone conclusion that most casting here will be decided by the studio, not Joss himself. Heck I think most of the lead players in this game already have signed on the dotted line.

Let’s all take a moment and thank Dr Horrible for making us aware of the singing and dancing abilities of Neil Patrick Harris. Tonight’s episode of How I Met Your Mother made me happy. What can I say, I love musicals. I love that they are making a comeback through television via Glee and How I Met Your Mother.
I’m pretty sure the girl who plays Brittany in Glee is in the dance chorus, most noticeable during the end scene front right in a pink shirt.

I have kinda gone back and forth on trying to put together something like this. Given that the Whedonverse is so small and compact, with most of it laying in the Buffy/Angel realm, I didn’t know if I could lay down a solid list without it seemingly being confined to one ‘verse or the next.
