Let’s all take a moment and thank Dr Horrible for making us aware of the singing and dancing abilities of Neil Patrick Harris.  Tonight’s episode of How I Met Your Mother made me happy.  What can I say, I love musicals.  I love that they are making a comeback through television via Glee and How I Met Your Mother.

I’m pretty sure the girl who plays Brittany in Glee is in the dance chorus, most noticeable during the end scene front right in a pink shirt.

I do find it amusing that Alyson Hannigan has been on multiple series that have required her to sing.  She does look ..read more

I have a confession.  I love Lifetime movies.  It’s the cheesy, know what’s going to happen, bad dialogue, mediocre acting style of fluff that I can’t say no to.  I’m even more addicted to Christmas Lifetime movies.  I just counted 11 nuggets of Christmas cheese on my DVR and already had to answer the question of “What did you do last night?” with “I watched A Boyfriend for Christmas.” Here’s what I’ve learned, there’s a surprising number of geek show alums in Lifetime’s Christmas lineup.  So, here’s the spray cheese digest for ..read more

I have kinda gone back and forth on trying to put together something like this. Given that the Whedonverse is so small and compact, with most of it laying in the Buffy/Angel realm, I didn’t know if I could lay down a solid list without it seemingly being confined to one ‘verse or the next.
