JemCon 2009:  Magic in Motown.  Detroit, MI.  September 26-27.  Dolls, cosplay, and even some of the voice actors.  I was a Jem watching child of the 80s.  And while I can neither confirm or deny, for legal purposes, the complete series just may reside on my dvd shelf.   I have to admit that I have wanted to dress up like Jem with my sister April as Synergy.  She wants to wear a leotard and lots of purple eyeshadow and walk around with her eyes closed.  And I want to wear those earrings and whisper things like, “Oh no Synergy!  Rio can’t see me here!”  I wonder if they ..read more
