Oh Veronica Mars what a supernova you were. Here one year and gone the next.
I am sure you all know how much I lament the loss of Firefly after a short one season. But not too far below Firefly sits that sassy, sparkplug of a teenage detective Veronica Mars.
Granted the final third season was a bit stilted as it tried to keep ahead of the cancellation axe, but those first two season were dark, engaging and full of twists and turns we never saw coming.
Every once in a while I tend to rewatch television. Some good, some bad, some I don’t want anyone to know I actually watch. I have ..read more

I like Chuck. I have liked Chuck since he first appeared on my television. There is just something about the way it spoke to me with its mix of spies, ninjas, video games, tech and hot women.
And now that season three has wrapped up (I just finished watching today), and season four is on the way next fall, can I just say that Chuck Bartowski is one lucky SOB when it comes to the ladies.
Yes yes, I realize its all Hollywood magic. No super geekspy would ever be so lucky in real life. I mean really? Do only hot women fall in love with the man? Here is the quick ..read more

A couple of years ago when a small little show named Eureka started up on the then SciFi Channel, I didn’t pay it much thought. But then as hulu emerged from the pack and started offering SciFi programming it snuck into my subscriptions.
And then by the end of season one I was hooked on this little quirky show about a community of geniuses and its out of place sheriff who can somehow find the way to fix all the things gone wrong. It played a fine line with embracing the brain but pointing out the dangers genius gone wrong. And I will give it up to SyFy for sticking with ..read more

Sorry we have dropped the ball so much with our GeekPeeks, lets call it a glitch in the system.
Okay it was really that busy time in real life + my email putting everything in the spam folder = me be a total slacker.
But back to it we go, and today we have an early look at SyFy’s upcoming episodes of Stargate Universe and ..read more

Want a short look at what is coming up on Sunday at 8/7c with the latest installment of a Battlestar Galactica made for tv movie? Well you got it! SyFy shipped us an extended clip.
You might remember we here at GeekSix have mixed feelings on this. We love our BSG. And the last season sullied it a bit. And we don’t want to go down that road if it will just leave a sour taste in our mouths. But EJO gives it two thumbs up (never mind that he directed ..read more

Well maybe almost everything. I can’t read your mind. Yet.
But the guys over at SyFy passed along to Geek6 a crapton of video features and previews for the upcoming Caprica.
Maybe you will find something you like? I suppose if you don’t like spoilers you should stop reading ..read more

Hello Geek6 readers! It has been far too long since we last chatted about life, food and high geekery.
Okay granted, it was all my fault. I purchased a house, painted it, then recruited everyone who offered help to help us move (including the boss Josh (which he complained about the next day (puny man))), and then cooked Thanksgiving dinner for my parents that moved in.
And then there is the fact that we sort of moved to a rural area outside the city (yea surburbia! (really far away surburbia!)). And with that there is no actual cable company. It is all satellite television. And that means no cable broadband either. But ..read more
I figure I might as well start sharing everything we get with you our readers. No need to be selfish right?
On tap for today? A quick look at the upcoming episodes of Stargate Universe and Sanctuary. Honestly I still need to check out the first couple of episodes of SGU while I did watch last season of Sanctuary but didn’t get totally hooked. Should I give it another try?
More to see after the jump in case you do not want to be all ..read more

Well, in just about two months (November 7, 2009 to be exact), the door will be opening on a brand new, second season of Legend of the Seeker.
Seeker, based on Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth series, saw its 22 episode first season capture a core audience despite it being only offered through syndication, on mostly weekends. And even then, mostly on The CW affiliates across the land.
But the good news is that soon we will have all new adventures of Richard, Kahlen and Zed, this time based around Goodkind’s second book in the series, Stone of Tears. And now we have our first look at season two.
